Associate, Venture Investing

RA Capital Management is looking for an Associate to join their Planetary Health Investment Team in Boston. This role involves sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment and a passion for sustainability. You’ll work closely with a team of experts to drive impactful investments in planetary health.

What You’ll Do

• Develop competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions.
• Source investments through research and networking.
• Conduct in-depth market and financial analysis.
• Support portfolio companies with go-to-market strategies and fundraising.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field.
• Advanced degree (Masters/PhD) preferred.
• 3-6 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or startup leadership.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and market analysis.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be based in the Greater Boston area.
