Goanna Capital Management is looking for an Investor Relations Associate to join their team in the New York City area. This role involves building and managing relationships with limited partners, handling fundraising processes, and communicating effectively with investors. The ideal candidate will have experience in venture capital or growth equity and be ready for significant travel. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership at a dynamic firm.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and deepen relationships with existing LPs through meetings and visits.
  • Identify and close relationship gaps with LPs.
  • Manage the due diligence process for prospective LPs.
  • Create and distribute quarterly LP letters and reports.
  • Produce regular portfolio updates to keep investors engaged.
  • Represent Goanna at LP events and conferences globally.

What You Need

  • 3-5 years in investor relations at a venture capital or growth equity firm.
  • Experience building and managing LP relationships directly.
  • Comfortable with heavy travel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in private markets mechanics.
  • Experience managing fundraising due diligence cycles.
  • High energy and ownership mentality.
