Associate, Investor – Venture Investing

Sky9 Capital is looking for an Associate Investor to join their San Francisco team. In this role, you’ll work closely with partners to find and evaluate investment opportunities in the tech space. You’ll be involved in everything from sourcing deals to conducting due diligence and supporting portfolio companies. This is a great chance for someone with a technical background to make a real impact in the venture capital world.

What You’ll Do

• Source new investment opportunities in deep tech and consumer sectors.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments.
• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Support portfolio companies in their growth and development.
• Build a strong network by attending industry events and conferences.

What You Need

• 1-3 years of experience in Product Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Management Consulting.
• Strong local network within the San Francisco Bay Area startup community.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Proven academic excellence from a top-tier university.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
• Deep curiosity about technology trends and startup business models.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-starter with a high level of integrity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
