Associate, Japan Business Coverage Team

Neuberger Berman is looking for a Private Equity Associate, Senior Associate, or VP to join their Japan Business Coverage Team in New York. This role involves managing investment planning and portfolio construction for Japanese clients, as well as collaborating with teams in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment and be proficient in both English and Japanese.

What You’ll Do

• Manage investment planning and portfolio construction for Japanese clients.
• Assist in preparing materials and presentations for client meetings.
• Coordinate with teams in Tokyo to respond to client inquiries.
• Develop a deep understanding of various private investment strategies.

What You Need

• 3 – 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese is required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
