Associate, Management Company

General Atlantic is looking for an Associate to join their Management Company team in Amsterdam. This role involves providing finance support for various legal entities, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance. You’ll work closely with a team to help strengthen the finance function and support the firm’s growth strategy in infrastructure investing.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate with third-party accounting service providers for accurate financial reporting.
• Review and validate accounting outputs to ensure compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
• Communicate financial updates to internal stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements in finance operations.

What You Need

• Strong understanding of journal entries and accounting principles.
• Experience with a major ERP system like Workday or SAP.
• Ability to review reconciliations and financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS is a plus.
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant is desirable.
