You will be involved in sourcing, scouting, and community engagement to strengthen Antler’s presence in the local startup ecosystem. What You’ll Do
- Identify and engage with exceptional founders and early-stage startups in Japan.
- Drive the sourcing and scouting of potential founders and startups.
- Manage outreach campaigns to engage potential founders.
- Support inbound applications and conduct screening calls.
- Build relationships within the local startup ecosystem.
- Organize events like meetups and hackathons to foster community.
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience for Associate, 4+ years for Manager in startups, venture capital, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese startup landscape and existing local network preferred.
- Ability to identify exceptional founders and strong candidates for investment.
- Experience in building relationships and communities within Japan.
- Fluency in English or Japanese, with conversational skills in the other language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities to optimize operations and strategies.
- Proactive and innovative mindset, able to work independently and in a team.
