Associate, Portfolio Analytics

Ares Management is looking for an Associate to join their Portfolio Analytics team in New York. This role involves analyzing investment reports, preparing investor communications, and supporting portfolio monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or accounting and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Help monitor portfolio performance with investment professionals
• Analyze quarterly investment report valuations
• Prepare quarterly investor reports and performance returns
• Analyze valuation changes and their drivers
• Process investment amendments and consents
• Support Investor Relations with data for presentations

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2-3 years of experience in investment analysis, accounting, or a related field
• Strong academic record and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good financial analysis, writing, and presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Minimum GPA of 3.4
