Associate, Portfolio Analytics and Reporting – Private Debt

The Associate role at StepStone Group involves supporting portfolio analytics and reporting for private debt and multi-asset portfolios. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting while enhancing data quality and reporting processes. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background and a passion for private markets.

What You’ll Do

• Produce and deliver portfolio reports and analytics for clients.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Analyze portfolio performance and key metrics.
• Resolve data discrepancies from various sources.
• Improve data quality and reporting processes.
• Support automation and process improvement projects.
• Collaborate with different teams to present portfolio information accurately.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Private Markets, Asset Management, or Investment Reporting.
• Experience with large financial datasets and complex data analysis.
• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Understanding of private debt and private markets is a plus.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
