Associate, Portfolio & Liability Management

Carlyle is looking for an Associate to join their ABF Asset Management team in New York. This role involves supporting asset-backed finance strategies and managing liquidity and leverage across various portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of credit assets and enjoy collaborating with different teams to optimize investment strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Help manage fund-level liquidity and asset-level leverage.
• Build models for cash flow forecasts and interest expenses.
• Produce scenario analyses to support portfolio decisions.
• Develop liquidity forecasts and monitor risks across funds.
• Coordinate with teams for facility execution and compliance.

What You Need

• 1-3 years of experience in structured credit or financial analytics.
• Familiarity with loan-level datasets and securitization.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex data.
