Associate, Portfolio Associate – Buyout & LBO Operations

KKR is looking for a Portfolio Associate/Asset Manager to join their Credit Asset Management team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you’ll oversee a portfolio of loans and work closely with various teams to ensure successful asset management. This position offers a chance to engage in meaningful projects and collaborate with industry experts.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and evaluate loan requests and borrower proposals
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential credit issues
• Prepare and present asset performance reports
• Collaborate with project teams to track schedules and budgets
• Interpret loan documents to ensure compliance with terms
• Mentor junior analysts in asset management tasks
• Manage special projects to enhance the asset management platform

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 4 – 10 years of experience in asset management of loans secured by commercial real estate
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Experience in special servicing or construction loan management is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
