Associate, Private Climate Investing

Wellington Management is looking for an Associate to join their Private Climate Investing Team in New York. This role involves working on investments that address climate change, focusing on growth-stage companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and a passion for climate solutions, contributing to all aspects of the investment process.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct market research and company mapping.
• Perform due diligence on potential investments.
• Build and maintain financial models for portfolio companies.
• Draft investment memos and participate in discussions.
• Attend meetings with target companies and industry events.

What You Need

• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or venture capital.
• Strong academic background with a required undergraduate degree.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Interest in climate change and emerging technologies.
