Associate, Private Credit Portfolio & Risk Management

Carlyle Private Credit is looking for an Associate to join their Portfolio Management team in New York. This role involves monitoring direct lending portfolio companies and managing various credit facilities. The Associate will work closely with internal teams and external partners, gaining valuable experience in credit analysis and business management. What You’ll Do

• Manage credit facilities and track portfolio investments
• Collaborate with the team to identify portfolio weaknesses
• Work with internal teams to maintain key investment metrics
• Ensure timely reporting for investors and lenders
• Analyze investment valuations and risks
• Assist in closing new and existing investments
• Participate in fundraising and investor relations projects

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 2 years of experience in portfolio or fund management, ideally in direct lending or private credit
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with large data sets is a plus
• Comfort with analyzing legal documents is a plus
