Associate, Private Credit Portfolio & Risk Management

The Carlyle Group is looking for an Associate to join their Private Credit Portfolio Management team. In this role, you’ll be involved in monitoring investments, managing credit facilities, and collaborating with various teams. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills while working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to senior management and external partners.

What You’ll Do

• Manage credit facilities and track portfolio investments
• Collaborate with the team to identify portfolio weaknesses
• Work with internal teams to maintain key investment metrics
• Ensure timely reporting for investors and lenders
• Analyze investment valuations and risks
• Assist in closing new investments

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 2 years of experience in portfolio or fund management, ideally in direct lending or private credit
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with legal documents like credit agreements is a plus
