Associate, Private Equity Buyout Investing

BDI Partners is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their team in Raleigh, NC. This role involves working on investment sourcing, analysis, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude, contributing to all aspects of the investment process. What You’ll Do

• Participate in all parts of the investment process, from sourcing to due diligence.
• Manage transaction execution and diligence.
• Prepare materials for the Investment Committee.
• Support portfolio companies with financial and operational tasks.
• Work directly with portfolio company management to improve systems and processes.
• Conduct valuation analyses of potential investments.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, accounting, finance, or economics.
• At least two years of professional experience, ideally in investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience working with external clients or teams is a plus.
• Self-starter mentality with strong problem-solving skills.
