Associate, Private Equity Buyout

Bloom Equity Partners is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their team in Manhattan. In this role, you’ll be involved in all stages of the investment lifecycle, from evaluating potential investments to supporting portfolio companies post-acquisition. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in private equity and work closely with senior professionals in a fast-growing firm.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for potential investments.
• Conduct market analysis and financial assessments of target companies.
• Lead due diligence workstreams to understand target companies deeply.
• Coordinate with external advisors during transactions.
• Prepare investment committee materials and presentations.
• Support portfolio companies in improving operational efficiencies.
• Monitor portfolio performance through financial analysis.

What You Need

• At least 2 years of experience in Investment Banking or Accounting, or 1 year in Private Equity.
• Experience in buyouts of B2B enterprise software or tech-enabled services is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling skills and due diligence experience.
• Excellent analytical skills to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree from a top university with a strong GPA.
