Associate, Private Equity – Buyout & LBO Investing

GIC is looking for an Associate to join their Private Equity, Special Opportunities Group starting in Summer 2026 in San Francisco. This role offers a unique chance to engage in direct and fund investments, conduct thorough due diligence, and develop investment strategies. What You’ll Do

• Participate in the underwriting process for direct and co-investments.
• Evaluate key risk/return drivers and market dynamics.
• Conduct due diligence on fund investments and managers.
• Research and develop investment themes and strategies.
• Monitor macro environment and portfolio performance.

What You Need

• 2-4 years of work experience in investment banking, buy-side, or consulting.
• Strong quantitative skills and financial modeling proficiency.
• Responsible, proactive, and curious about investments.
• Prior experience or interest in investment mandates is a plus.
