Associate, Private Equity – Buyout & LBO Investing

GIC is looking for an Associate to join their Private Equity, Special Opportunities Group in San Francisco starting in Summer 2027. This role offers a unique chance to work on direct investments, co-investments, and fund investments while developing new investment themes. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation and collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Participate in the underwriting process for direct and co-investments.
• Conduct due diligence on key risk/return drivers and market dynamics.
• Evaluate fund managers’ strategies and track records.
• Research and develop new investment themes and strategies.
• Monitor macro environment and portfolio performance.

What You Need

• 2-4 years of work experience in investment banking, buy-side, or consulting.
• Strong quantitative skills and financial modeling proficiency.
• Responsible, proactive, and intellectually curious.
• Prior experience or interest in investment mandates is a plus.
