Associate, Private Equity – Technology Vertical

Partners Group is looking for an Associate to join their Private Equity Technology Team in Baar, Switzerland. This role focuses on majority/control investments in the technology sector. Candidates with a strong interest in software and technology are encouraged to apply, even if they come from other industries.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments.
• Lead and support diligence workstreams with advisors and management teams.
• Prepare investment memoranda and manage internal communications.
• Identify and assess investment opportunities through market research.
• Monitor portfolio companies and support value creation initiatives.

What You Need

• Strong academic credentials.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, ideally preceded by investment banking or management consulting; or 3-4 years of experience in investment banking or consulting.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Self-directed with proven ability to manage tasks within demanding timelines.
