Associate, Real Estate Credit Investing

The Carlyle Group is looking for a 2-Year Associate to join their Real Estate Credit division in New York. This role involves analyzing and executing investment opportunities in real estate credit, with a focus on financial modeling and market research. The Associate will work closely with senior team members and be involved in all aspects of the investment process.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a small team to analyze real estate credit investments
• Perform financial modeling for various deals
• Conduct market research and summarize findings
• Prepare investment committee memos and reports
• Monitor and manage existing investments
• Communicate with various stakeholders throughout the investment process

What You Need

• 2+ years of experience in Real Estate, Finance, or Investing
• Strong skills in Excel and financial modeling
• Knowledge of Argus software
• Ability to analyze property-level cash flows and capital structures
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
