Associate, Secondaries & Venture Growth Evergreen

Wellington Management is looking for a motivated Associate to join their Venture Growth Evergreen team in New York. This role focuses on secondary transactions and involves sourcing, underwriting, and executing deals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for private markets. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and gain exposure to a variety of investment strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Source and underwrite secondary transactions.
• Model and analyze investment opportunities across various sectors.
• Collaborate with internal teams on investment processes.
• Prepare investment memos and documentation.
• Manage multiple deals and diligence streams simultaneously.

What You Need

• 3-5+ years of experience in secondary investing.
• Experience with LP, GP, and secondary direct transactions is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• CFA charter holder or progress towards CFA is preferred.
