$434B Temasek is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join their Agri-Food investment team. This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments while supporting portfolio value creation. The ideal candidate will conduct research, perform financial analysis, and engage with various stakeholders in the food value chain.
What You’ll Do
- Identify key developments and assess investment opportunities in the food value chain.
- Conduct research and financial analysis on specific sub-sectors and companies.
- Develop financial models and presentations for internal evaluations.
- Perform thorough due diligence and provide clear investment recommendations.
- Structure and finalize new investments and manage divestments when needed.
- Monitor and manage existing portfolio companies.
- Build relationships with companies, advisors, and other investment firms.
- Assist with regular portfolio reporting and strategic initiatives.
What You Need
- Undergraduate degree with great academic records, ideally in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM.
- 1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Able to work well in diverse teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and work independently.
