Associate, Impact Investing

The Associate/Senior Associate role in Impact Investing at Temasek is a fantastic opportunity for those passionate about making a difference. In this 12-month contract position, you’ll support the team in identifying and assessing investment opportunities that create social and environmental impact. You’ll engage with various stakeholders and help monitor the performance of portfolio companies, all while working in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

• Help identify and assess impact investment opportunities.
• Conduct research and financial analysis on target funds or companies.
• Evaluate and prepare materials for investment committee recommendations.
• Monitor and report on the performance of portfolio companies.
• Track metrics related to social and environmental impact.
• Build relationships with companies and partners in the impact space.
• Support ecosystem building and stakeholder engagement.

What You Need

• Strong academic background in any field.
• Passionate about making a positive impact.
• 1-2 years of experience for Associate, 3-4 years for Senior Associate.
• Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ESG and impact measurement, with a willingness to learn more.
• Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
• Able to work well in diverse teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Self-starter who can handle multiple priorities independently.
