Associate, Private Equity & Mezzanine Investing

Aegon Asset Management is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Private Equity team in Baltimore, MD. This role involves managing investments in private equity and mezzanine assets, including sourcing and evaluating funds and co-investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and investment, with opportunities for growth and development within the firm.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and execute various aspects of the investment process.
• Source and evaluate potential private asset funds and co-investments.
• Conduct financial modeling and prepare investment recommendations.
• Negotiate and execute transactions independently.
• Monitor portfolio investments and write reports.
• Maintain relationships with general partners and other stakeholders.

What You Need

• At least one year of experience for Associate; three plus years for Senior Associate in investment or finance roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and partners.
