Associate, Private Investments

1932 Capital Management is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join their Private Investments team. This role involves supporting the execution and management of private investment strategies, including leveraged buyouts and minority equity investments. The successful candidate will engage in deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management while working closely with senior leadership and managing a team of analysts.

What You’ll Do

• Source and build relationships with investment professionals.
• Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses.
• Lead due diligence efforts and prepare investment materials.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies on growth strategies.
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance.
• Prepare materials for investment committee meetings.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Direct Investing.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and capital structures.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Experience in training and supervising analysts is a plus.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
