Associate, Valuations

Hamilton Lane is looking for an Associate in Valuations to join their team. In this role, you’ll conduct valuation analyses and build financial models for various investments. What You’ll Do

• Conduct valuation analyses of various investments across industries.
• Build and modify financial models for valuations.
• Research securities, industries, and market data.
• Review financial statements and transaction documents.
• Prepare clear valuation reports for stakeholders.
• Guide junior analysts and ensure quality deliverables.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members for timely project completion.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in valuation or financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methods.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.
• Progress towards CFA or relevant certification is a plus.
