Associate, Venture Capital Investing

Sky9 Capital is looking for a Venture Capital Associate to join their team in San Francisco. In this role, you’ll work closely with partners to find and evaluate investment opportunities in the tech space. You’ll be involved in everything from sourcing deals to conducting due diligence and supporting portfolio companies. This is a great chance for someone with a technical background to make a real impact in the venture capital world.

What You’ll Do

• Source new investment opportunities in deep tech and consumer sectors.
• Conduct thorough commercial and technical due diligence.
• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Support portfolio founders in their growth and strategy.
• Build a strong network by attending industry events and conferences.

What You Need

• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital.
• Strong local network within the startup community in the Bay Area.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Curious about technology trends and startup business models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and integrity.
