-- Vertico is looking for a Venture Capital Associate to join their team in São Paulo. In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to lead investment sourcing and analysis, making strategic recommendations. You’ll work closely with experienced partners and engage with the startup ecosystem, all while contributing to impactful investments.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the sourcing and analysis of investment opportunities.
- Develop and study priority verticals for investment.
- Represent the company at ecosystem events.
- Conduct strategic and financial analysis of early-stage startups.
- Prepare investment memos and support the Investment Committee.
- Negotiate terms and work with legal teams.
- Manage the portfolio and track impact metrics.
- Support portfolio companies with strategic advice.
What You Need
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Venture Capital.
- Experience in the investment cycle, including origination, analysis, negotiation, and follow-up.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Experience with contracts and term sheets.
- Ability to create structured business cases and investment memos.
- Advanced English skills.
- Experience in CVC, M&A, Investment Banking, or Private Equity is a plus.
