Associate, Insurance Strategy

Blackstone is looking for an experienced Insurance Strategy Specialist to join their team in Hong Kong or Singapore. This role involves providing expert insights on insurance regulations and supporting business development efforts for APAC insurance clients. You’ll collaborate with various teams to deliver tailored investment solutions and engage with clients to understand their needs better.

What You’ll Do

• Provide expert insights on APAC insurance regulations and their impact on products.
• Assist in client projects and respond to client requests.
• Maintain financial models for portfolio optimization specific to the APAC market.
• Research and analyze insurance market trends and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
• Engage with prospective clients and support due diligence processes.

What You Need

• 5+ years of experience in asset management, especially in the APAC insurance market.
• Strong knowledge of local insurance regulations and alternative investments.
• Experience working directly with insurance clients and understanding their needs.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, actuarial sciences, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Financial modeling skills and knowledge of programming languages are a plus.
• Mandarin speaking is a plus.
