AVP, External Managers – Credit and Fixed Income Risk

The AVP role at GIC focuses on managing relationships with external investment managers in the credit and fixed income space. You will conduct due diligence, analyze performance, and help construct portfolios while mitigating risks. What You’ll Do

• Conduct thorough due diligence on hedge fund managers and strategies.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on hedge fund performance and risk.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
• Support the development of portfolio construction and risk management frameworks.
• Maintain internal databases and create analytical tools.

What You Need

• 4 to 6 years of experience in fund allocation, risk management, or capital markets.
• Experience with fixed income and credit securities is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in hedge fund investing.
• Good analytical skills to interpret data and identify risks.
• Familiarity with basic statistics and databases like MS SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, VBA, or R.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
