-- GIC is looking for an AVP in their Private Equity, Direct Investments Group. This role involves managing investment opportunities and leading deal execution in North America. You’ll work closely with a talented team and have the chance to make a significant impact on the firm’s investment strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Help grow GIC’s presence in North America and develop investment opportunities.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle from sourcing to execution.
- Lead deal appraisal and negotiate transaction documentation.
- Present investment decisions to the investment committee.
- Monitor portfolio companies and report on their progress.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; MBA is a plus.
- 4 to 7 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in private equity.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Proven investment track record and experience with operational assets.
- Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to deal execution.
- Team player and self-starter, able to work independently.
