Associate/AVP, External Managers – Credit Investing Strategy

GIC is looking for an Associate/AVP to join their External Managers Department in Singapore. This role involves conducting due diligence on hedge fund managers, analyzing performance and risks, and supporting portfolio construction. The ideal candidate will have experience in investment management and a strong analytical background. What You’ll Do

• Conduct thorough due diligence on hedge fund managers and strategies.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on hedge fund performance and risks.
• Prepare performance reports and present findings to senior management.
• Support the development of portfolio construction and risk management frameworks.
• Maintain internal databases and create analytical tools.

What You Need

• At least 3 years of experience in fund allocation, risk management, or capital markets.
• Experience analyzing macro, fixed income, and credit securities.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in hedge fund investing.
• Good analytical skills to interpret data and identify risks.
• Familiarity with basic statistics and databases like MS SQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, VBA, or R.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
