Assistant Vice President, Fund Finance – BREDS Drawdown

The Assistant Vice President in Global Fund Finance at Blackstone will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of BREDS. This position involves accounting, financial statement reviews, and regulatory filings. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in accounting, particularly in financial services or real estate. What You’ll Do

• Handle accounting for BREDS using the fund’s general ledger.
• Oversee daily bank activity reviews.
• Maintain and reconcile loan investments and debt financings.
• Review financial statements and capital statements.
• Calculate management fees and distributions.
• Assist with special projects and system implementations.
• Prepare analyses for external auditors during audits.
• Oversee financial regulatory filings.

What You Need

• BS or higher in Accounting is a must.
• 7+ years of experience in public or private accounting is preferred.
• Experience with a “Big 4” audit firm is a plus.
• Background in financial services or real estate is preferred.
• Familiarity with Investment Company Accounting is a bonus.
• Strong Excel skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of Investran is a plus.
