Assistant Vice President, Fund Finance – BREDS Drawdowns

This role at Blackstone involves managing the financial aspects of BREDS, including accounting and financial reporting. The Assistant Vice President will oversee daily bank activities, maintain loan investments, and prepare financial statements. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background and experience in financial services or real estate.

What You’ll Do

• Handle accounting for BREDS using the fund’s general ledger
• Review daily bank activities
• Maintain and reconcile loan investments and debt financings
• Review financial statements and capital statements
• Calculate management fees and distributions
• Assist with special projects and system implementations
• Prepare analyses for external auditors
• Oversee financial regulatory filings

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is a must
• 6+ years of experience in public or private accounting
• Experience with Big 4 audit firms is a plus
• Background in financial services or real estate is preferred
• Familiarity with Investment Company Accounting is beneficial
• Strong Excel skills are preferred
• Knowledge of Investran is a plus
