$1100B Blackstone is looking for an AVP to join their Portfolio Management team focused on Life Sciences. In this role, you’ll be involved in preparing and analyzing investment valuations, managing team deliverables, and improving processes. It’s a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in finance and a passion for the life sciences sector.
What You’ll Do
- Help manage the team and track deliverables
- Complete valuation models according to company policy
- Onboard new portfolio investments and ensure data collection
- Manage annual audits with third-party firms
- Improve valuation and reporting processes
- Prepare presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
What You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar field
- 6+ years of experience in valuations or related analytical roles
- Strong understanding of valuation guidance and approaches
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience managing a team is a plus
