-- GIC is looking for an AVP, Quantitative Researcher to join their Portfolio Execution & Solutions Group in Singapore. This role focuses on fixed income markets, particularly corporate bonds, and involves delivering actionable analysis and innovative quantitative solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with traders and investment teams to enhance execution strategies and contribute to research initiatives across global markets.
What You’ll Do
- Work with a team to analyze counterparty selection and optimal execution strategies.
- Develop quantitative solutions to improve execution outcomes.
- Lead research projects and collaborate with developers to implement models.
- Engage with portfolio managers to understand transaction costs.
What You Need
- 6 to 10 years of work experience, with 2 to 5 years in a quantitative role.
- PhD in a relevant field is a plus.
- Strong interest in global fixed income markets.
- Experience with fixed income data and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA).
- Excellent coding skills in Python, R, SQL, or kdb/Q.
- Ability to manage research projects from start to finish.
- Familiarity with FX market structure is beneficial.
