Assistant Vice President, Valuation

The Assistant Vice President for Valuation at Blackstone will play a crucial role in reviewing investment valuations and ensuring accuracy across various fund strategies. This position involves preparing reports for senior management, leading the enhancement of valuation policies, and mentoring team members. The role is part of a collaborative finance team in Luxembourg, focused on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Review investment valuations and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare reports for management and governance bodies.
• Participate in onboarding new funds related to valuation.
• Lead the enhancement of valuation policies and procedures.
• Manage and coach team members for their professional growth.
• Drive improvements in valuation processes and technology use.
• Ensure the investment portfolio aligns with NAV.
• Conduct due diligence on valuation teams.

What You Need

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar field.
• 7+ years of experience in financial services, ideally with a Big 4 background.
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of local regulatory requirements for AIFM and Luxembourg Funds.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
