$1100B Blackstone is looking for an AVP to join their Valuations and Analytics team within Private Equity Strategies. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing valuations and supporting portfolio monitoring. You’ll work closely with various teams and have the opportunity to mentor junior staff. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do
- Help manage the team and track deliverables
- Complete valuation models according to company policy
- Oversee onboarding of new portfolio investments
- Manage annual audits with third-party firms
- Enhance valuation and reporting processes
- Prepare presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
What You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar field
- 6+ years of experience in valuations or related analytical roles
- Strong understanding of valuation guidance and approaches
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience managing a team is a plus
