Blacklock Financial are partnered with a strong Consumer focused Private Equity firm who are looking to add an associate to their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify potential investment targets
- Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed financial modeling, including DCF analysis, LBO modeling, and comparable company analysis
- Assist in due diligence efforts, including management interviews, site visits, and financial analysis
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Support the negotiation and structuring of transactions, working closely with senior team members
- Monitor and track portfolio company performance, providing ongoing support and strategic guidance as needed
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
