Blacklock Financial are partnered with a strong Consumer focused Private Equity firm who are looking to add an associate to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify potential investment targets
  • Evaluate investment opportunities through detailed financial modeling, including DCF analysis, LBO modeling, and comparable company analysis
  • Assist in due diligence efforts, including management interviews, site visits, and financial analysis
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the negotiation and structuring of transactions, working closely with senior team members
  • Monitor and track portfolio company performance, providing ongoing support and strategic guidance as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for investing and driving value creation
