The Analyst / Associate will be involved in supporting Blackstone Credit’s ongoing fundraising efforts and client relations functions. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining marketing presentations, diligence materials, preparing for and attending investor meetings, completing DDQs and RFPs, and supporting the marketing efforts. The role will entail close communication and coordination with Blackstone professionals across functions (product development, legal, finance, etc.) and business units to help facilitate cross-fertilization and cross-selling.

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.  In addition to strong analytical and time management skills, the successful candidate must have:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably within Leveraged Finance
  • Working knowledge of high yield/credit is preferable, along with basic understanding of accounting and finance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to write effectively
  • A demonstrated strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment
  • A high degree of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
