Associate (Full-Time)

You will be joining a small, tight-knit investment team as we collectively identify, invest in, and build next-generation enterprise businesses. Our teams are bifurcated between business development and execution functions. Your primary focus will be to help lead our due diligence efforts and make investment recommendations based on your work. Due diligence is the lifeblood of our firm – you will have the opportunity to help shape our internal processes from the ground up. The best work tends to uncover the best investment opportunities – you will be at the forefront of our efforts.

Responsibilities include:

Lead market, company, and financial due diligence efforts
Identify attractive industry sectors and specific companies for investment
Willingness to call and / or visit hundreds of companies annually
Assist portfolio companies in their strategic and financial growth plans

What we’re looking for:

Strong financial modeling experience in current / previous employment, excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Two to four years of work experience (investment banking or consulting a plus, but not required)
Prior finance experience at a technology / software business a plus, but not required
Eagerness to learn and dive deep into the metrics of a business (and its market) to get to the ground truth, which will ultimately drive our investment decision
