Chief of Staff, VC Investing Strategy

Clocktower Group is looking for a Chief of Staff to support their venture capital operations in Santa Monica, CA. This role involves working closely with the Partner to manage initiatives, coordinate projects, and prepare important documents. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a strong communicator, and eager to contribute to a small, dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within a leading fintech-focused venture practice.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with the Partner to execute key initiatives.
• Manage the Partner’s calendar and prioritize high-value tasks.
• Coordinate deliverables and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and marketing documents.
• Support investor relations and communications.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various functions.
• Contribute to broader firm initiatives as needed.

What You Need

• 3 to 6+ years of experience in a relevant field.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with CRM platforms and AI tools is a plus.
• Intellectually curious and eager to understand the bigger picture.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to the Los Angeles/SoCal area.
