Client Tech Data Lead – Role Description

Do you want to be a part of building the future digital experience for EQTs investors? We are now looking for a full-time Tech Lead within Data / Data Lead to our Client Tech Value Stream with the mission to create and deliver a best-in class client experience for EQTs investors.

What you will do

The Client Data Lead has the responsibility for the Client Tech data domain, which demands having a deep understanding of the data, including the producers and consumers of data within the domain, and drive data related improvements. As a lead within the Client Tech Value Stream, the Data Lead prioritise improvements, work together with the relevant teams, and has the mandate to deliver on the agreed plan.

• Lead a newly formed Client Tech Data group operating within a data mesh framework.
• Set & anchor the Client Tech Data strategy with corresponding architecture
• Play an active part of the EQT Tech Data Lead group and contribute to evolving the EQT Tech Data Strategy
• Set, anchor and deliver on the tactical roadmap for Client Tech Data
• Lead with the migration and enhancement of underlying data transformations using dbt.
• Lead the end-to-end development of domain data products, from ingestion, data transformations, to data sets and data visualisations.
• Collaborate closely with Client Tech Lead, Architect and Team Leads to prioritise and plan the work for you and your team.
• Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, and help them translating their data needs into actionable insights.
• Lead and be responsible for continuous improvements of all Client Tech Data assets

We’d Love To Meet Someone

• Who has a successful track record in roles such as Data lead, senior Data engineer or Analytics/BI roles
• Who feels comfortable driving best practices in a large development team, and has experience working with change management
• Who loves both tech and business, and thrives connecting the two disciplines.
• With great leadership and communication skills

Preferably You Also Have

• Experience working with data mesh strategies and turning strategy into delivery
• Experience leading highly skilled professionals to deliver as a team
