About the Role
You will work across several functions including firm operations, investor relations, diligence of new venture investments, and strategic planning.
We are seeking a fast learner with a combination of situational judgment, attention to detail, service orientation, networking prowess, financial acumen, effective communication, and emotional intelligence.
This role offers an exceptional chance to join a dynamic and close-knit team, providing unparalleled exposure to the inner-workings of venture capital operations and investing. As a part of the role, you will work closely with a select group of early-stage startups, LPs, and co-investors, expanding your network and playing a pivotal role in the growth and success of our emerging venture capital firm.
Role Responsibilities
You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive projects to completion, with a “no task too big or too small” attitude. Projects and ongoing responsibilities might include:Â
1. Help our team with firm operations and fund administration.
- Manage relationships with external partners (fund admin, finance, tax)
- Lead the formation of new Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)Â
- Support with regulatory filings and legal work
- Track fund deployment and initiate capital calls
- Prepare for regular investment team meetings
- Follow up on action items deemed important by colleagues
2. Help our team with fundraising and investor relations.
- Quarterback Limited Partner relationship management
- Field ad hoc requests from Limited Partners
- Complete various data analysis requests on the portfolioÂ
- Project manage fundraise conversationsÂ
- Maintain the CRM of Limited Partners
3. Help our team with analysis on new investment opportunities.
- Escalate promising companies and trends to dive deeper on
- Perform strategic due diligenceÂ
- Work with members of our team to make and execute investment decisions
- Help oversee financial and legal processes for new investments
Qualifications, Skills & Characteristics
You will thrive in this role if you have:

We are looking for someone with:
- 2-3 years of work experience;
- Previous experience in venture capital and/or startups; and
- Bachelor’s Degree
Other position specifics:
This full-time role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area working in person. In addition, you will work with team members in Boston and London.
