Frontier Growth (“Frontier”) seeks a driven and highly motivated Analyst with strong interest in private equityand enterprise softwareto help drive the sourcing and market diligence efforts for the firm. Researching, identifying, and engaging with quality companies is the first step in the private equity investment processand as such the Analystwill play a critical role in helpingdrive investment opportunities for the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sourcing and execution teams by researching, identifying, and contacting software companies (“Prospects”) that could potentially be strong investment opportunities for Frontier
  • Coordinate tactics for engaging with Prospects, and lead strategic outreach efforts on behalfof the firm
  • Reach out to prospects through email, phone calls, and social media to introduce the company’s products/services and generate interest
  • Engage with prospects to schedule meetings or calls with senior members of the investment team
  • Reach out to a specified number of target Prospects each week to drive new investment opportunities
  • Closely track and manage relationship with quality investment targets
  • Lead planning of sourcing trips, including identification of relevant companies & influencers to meet, outreach to top prospects, and providing pre-meeting research for Frontier attendee(s)
  • Coordinate conference logistics, including research and outreach effortswith the goal of settingmeetings with high priority Prospects
  • Assist in managing Frontier’s investment sourcing technology stack, including CRM and research databases
  • Ensure effective and efficient reporting on key pipeline metrics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and track record of strong academic performance
  • 0 – 2 years of professional or internship experience in Investing/Finance, Software Sales, or Consulting
  • Background or interestin the software industry
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and information both verbally and in writing
  • Desire and willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A competitive drive to own individual and team results
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic and comfortable working independently
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with colleagues; coachable
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and ethical behavior
  • Experience with databaseand research tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn, PitchBook, SourceScrub and Grata is helpful, but not required
