This role will analyze and structure new private equity investments in publicly-listed and privately-held companies within the technology sector (primarily application software companies). Analyze corporate buyouts in the technology sector and tech-enabled business models globally. Work closely with CEOs of $1billion+ enterprise value companies on value creation initiatives. Advise and participate in complex deal work for growth, expansions, buyouts, consolidations and build-ups. Manage financial structuring and perform advanced corporate financial modeling across debt and equity, and analyze global financial reporting as needed. Advise on the execution of financings, public offerings and investment initiatives by conducting financial evaluations, developing financial strategies and negotiating deals, market mapping and exercising oversight of sale or exit processes. Advise portfolio companies on value creation initiatives. Source, screen, evaluate and recommend investment opportunities in the technology sector. Work on prospectus drafts and model return scenarios for the IPOs of portfolio companies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (with Finance concentration) or Finance, plus five years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or in the position of Associate, Senior Associate or Analyst at a private equity firm with at least $50 billion in assets under management or an Investment Bank that generates $3 billion or more in annual investment banking revenue
  • Or Master’s degree in Business Administration (with Finance concentration) or Finance, plus three years of experience in the position offered or in the position of Associate, Senior Associate or Analyst at a private equity firm with at least $50 billion in assets under management or an Investment Bank that generates $3 billion or more in annual investment banking revenue.
  • All required experience must have included working on control buyout deals with total enterprise value of over $1 billion using complex debt financing, and evaluating preferred equity instruments in public companies and deal opportunities within application software value chain.
  • This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Miami, FL office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
