$0.2B mHUB Ventures is looking for a General Partner to join their team in Chicago. This role involves managing a new early-stage venture fund focused on hardtech investments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hardtech or deeptech sectors and will play a key role in fundraising, deal sourcing, and supporting portfolio companies.
What You’ll Do
- Work on projects that boost mHUB’s leadership in hardtech investing.
- Support fundraising by building relationships with investors.
- Source and manage investment deals independently.
- Lead due diligence and drive deal execution.
- Collaborate with mHUB’s accelerator and innovation programs.
- Prepare high-quality investment committee presentations.
- Monitor and support portfolio companies.
What You Need
- 10-15+ years of experience in hardtech or deeptech.
- Strong academic background with a technical graduate degree.
- Experience as a co-founder, entrepreneur, or leader in a large corporation.
- Deep technical expertise in engineering.
- Strong knowledge of startup financing and deal modeling.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for technology and investing.
- Must be an Accredited Investor.
