mHUB Ventures is looking for a General Partner to join their team in Chicago. This role involves managing a new early-stage venture fund focused on hardtech investments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the hardtech or deeptech sectors and will play a key role in fundraising, deal sourcing, and supporting portfolio companies.

What You’ll Do

  • Work on projects that boost mHUB’s leadership in hardtech investing.
  • Support fundraising by building relationships with investors.
  • Source and manage investment deals independently.
  • Lead due diligence and drive deal execution.
  • Collaborate with mHUB’s accelerator and innovation programs.
  • Prepare high-quality investment committee presentations.
  • Monitor and support portfolio companies.

What You Need

  • 10-15+ years of experience in hardtech or deeptech.
  • Strong academic background with a technical graduate degree.
  • Experience as a co-founder, entrepreneur, or leader in a large corporation.
  • Deep technical expertise in engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of startup financing and deal modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for technology and investing.
  • Must be an Accredited Investor.
