This role involves collaborating with various teams to identify and invest in promising startups in the semiconductor and materials technology sectors. The position offers significant visibility within the company and the opportunity to drive growth through strategic investments.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with teams to develop investment strategies and identify opportunities.
- Network to find new startups and manage relationships in the venture capital space.
- Drive investment strategies and assess risks for mid-stage venture capital opportunities.
- Lead partnerships to ensure value creation for both Entegris and startups.
- Manage the investment portfolio and represent Entegris at startup boards.
- Regularly update executives on portfolio health and value creation.
What You Need
- Master’s degree in Technology, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering, plus an MBA, or a Master’s in business with strong tech knowledge.
- 10 years of experience in High Technology Industry, Business Development, or Finance.
- 3-5 years of venture capital investing experience with a successful track record.
- Strong understanding of corporate venture capital.
- Excellent data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive attitude with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
