Job Description
The role of the Private Equity Associate for INSIGHT2PROFIT is to help support the development and execution of our Private Equity strategies and supporting activities. The individual in this role will be a member of the Private Equity team, within the broader commercial team, proactively supporting client-facing PE Leads. This role will be responsible for research, account management, maintenance, and development, while ensuring adherence of departmental processes – a blend of tactical actions and strategic thought partnership. This individual will be the center of knowledge for Private Equity accounts and build positive client relationships through regular interaction. This individual will identify top of funnel activity and support in executing portco and relationship targeting, network management, proactive outreach, with the goal of driving meaningful engagement and converting opportunities. This individual is resourceful, detail-oriented, with excellent project management and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management
- Support in building comprehensive and dynamic Target Account Plans for active and prospective accounts
- Work across the company to coordinate and drive forward activities associated with each account
- Development and tracking of KPIs
- Effectively utilize client information and feedback to develop custom, client-ready materials
- Client Interaction & Relationship Management – engage in client-facing role and support PE Leads:
- Preparation and participation in client meetings; capture relevant client information, milestones, and action items
- Work closely with client and project teams to ensure meetings are scheduled, collaborate on strategy, and management of next steps and follow-up communications
- Develop detailed organizational charts through contact and account research for each account and manage key relationships through regular communication and active M&A maintenance
- Metric Tracking & CRM Management–
- Assist Private Equity Lead with research, progress tracking in various systems (Salesforce, Quip, OneNote), and key channel metrics
- Manage internal Salesforce to ensure proper tracking of all accounts, contact, key client information, and relationships to ensure best-in-class network management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a Sales & Marketing, Account/Project Management, and/or Sales Operations position in a professional services environment
- Demonstrated examples of collaborating with business team members across departments, and senior leadership
- Exhibits a high level of team and organizational awareness; proactively identifies needs and fulfills them
- Experience in generating visuals and graphics that aid with the explanation of concepts and organizational structure
- Strong attention to detail and organization to support and drive account management
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects
- Successfully able to manage workload against competing deadlines and multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of CRMs, experience in Salesforce is a plus
- Experience with industry research platforms, such as Pitchbook
- Exposure / knowledge of Private Equity universe is a plus
- Ability to participate in team meetings and discussions to share thoughts, ideas and ask questions of the work being assigned
- Ability to support all levels of the organization, building relationships and contributing thought leadership as well as expertise
