Intern, AI Enablement

The AI Enablement Intern role at Providence Strategic Growth is a hands-on position focused on supporting AI adoption within the firm and its portfolio companies. You’ll work closely with various teams to develop practical AI solutions that enhance workflows and decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in the intersection of AI and finance while contributing to meaningful projects.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain a library of AI tools for internal use.
• Work with teams to assess and prototype AI solutions.
• Support AI training and fluency within the team.
• Collaborate on AI tools to speed up investment workflows.
• Improve data collection and reporting processes.
• Identify AI opportunities within portfolio companies.
• Help develop content for AI initiatives.
• Handle ad hoc requests as they come up.

What You Need

• 1-3 years of relevant experience or currently pursuing a graduate degree in a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools like prompt engineering and workflow automation.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
• Experience building financial models in Excel.
• Ability to define data sources and requirements for building solutions.
• Proactive in proposing use cases and developing solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills to work across teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
