S$434B Temasek is looking for a Project Intern to join their AI for Investment team in Beijing or Shanghai. This role involves building AI-powered tools to enhance investment research and decision-making. Interns will work closely with investment professionals and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation in finance.
What You’ll Do
- Build AI agents and automated systems to enhance investment research.
- Develop tools for deal screening and due diligence.
- Create and maintain dashboards and data tools for the investment team.
- Automate the ingestion of multi-source data for AI workflows.
- Generate research reports and investment memos using AI.
What You Need
- Degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD candidates, with postgraduate or PhD preferred.
- Hands-on experience building AI applications through projects, internships, or open-source work.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
- Familiarity with vector search, data pipelines, and LLM tooling.
- Experience with prompt engineering and database management is a plus.
- Interest in finance or economics is preferred.
