Intern Analyst, Venture Capital

Groupe SEB is looking for a Venture Capital Analyst intern to join their SEB Alliance team. This role involves managing project submissions, conducting research on investment opportunities, and participating in the evaluation and decision-making processes. It’s a great chance for students interested in venture capital and startups to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Manage incoming project submissions and prepare for investment committee meetings.
• Conduct proactive research on potential investment targets in France and internationally.
• Meet with startup founders and entrepreneurs to discuss projects.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare investment documentation.
• Assist in the internal investment decision-making process.
• Help with the execution of investment operations.
• Prepare internal reporting.

What You Need

• Final year student in a Bac +5 program, business or engineering school.
• Some experience in supporting, financing, or investing in startups/SMEs.
• Strong interest in startups and understanding of business models.
• Technical skills in financial analysis and business plan reviews.
• Good analytical and synthesis skills.
• Able to work in a complex environment with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2).
